Blair Whitley Ray

I have been around Real Estate Professionals my entire life so coming into this business felt like second nature to me. I grew up in the Virginia Beach school system and attended Radford University where I graduated with a degree in Business Management. After graduation I came home and pursued my career in Real Estate, where I have been ever since. I have been a Realtor with Rose and Womble for over ten years and have received many awards including the Circle of Excellence Award and the Five Star Realty Professional Award. I am also an Agent that is frequently featured as one of Rose and Womble Realty's top listing and sales in our company.


I feel so fortunate to be one of the few Realtors that thrive in this field. I enjoy meeting new people and working with them on, more than likely, the biggest financial investment they will ever make. It is a rewarding career that I genuinely love, which is why I do so well. I can honestly say I enjoy the challenges this field frequently brings and the satisfaction that comes with helping my clients.

 

Over the past few years I have also personally trained my partner who now assists me with my growing business. Now my clients get TWO great Realtors for the price of one! She and I work together to make sure our clients get personal attention no matter what. If one of us is sick, or out of town, there is no need to worry, we make sure our clients get personal attention and feel important, because they are. I am also proud to say that most of my business is referrals. I think that speaks volumes about the way I do business. I treat others how I wish to be treated. I do what I can to make sure my clients have a good experience and get the best deal possible. I have had years of practice with negotiations, I am a problem solver (which is essential in this business!), I am level headed and know how to navigate through situations/problems that many people do not even think of. A real estate transaction can actually be a very complicated process, many people do not realize all that it entails and how many things can go wrong!  My job is to see these possible problems and solve them. 

 

This job is more than just helping you find a home, or sell a home, it is navigating you through the entire process. My job is to educate, help and guide you so you close on the home you want, and not be left without one! What do you do if the home does not appraise? What do you do if the closing is delayed and you have to be out of your rental? What do you do if you found a home you love and want to buy, but have a home to sell first?  I answer and solve problems just like these EVERY DAY. It is important to have a great REALTOR (not the be confused with a Real Estate Agent by the way-these two are not the same) guiding you, helping you, and representing YOUR best interest. I pledge all of this to my clients every single time.
